Teacher of Health & Social Care

We are recruiting at Westbourne Academy.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Health & Social Care who can ensure pupils receive an excellent education through the delivery of high-quality teaching. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach both KS3 and KS4 and desirably another vocational subject e.g. Child Development.

You will be joining a dynamic and exciting team, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

The successful candidate will have a commitment for continued professional development and will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of health & social care in the classroom.

As a key member of the team, you will be a dedicated professional capable of supporting and leading classroom and extra-curricular programmes.

We welcome applications from ambitious individuals, who have the drive, passion and vision to lead the department forward, applications from ECTs are welcomed.

The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team and a strong SLT.
