A leading defence organisation in the UK is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Sea Ceptor Weapon Systems team, delivering certification and verification activities to support multiple customers. This role requires experience in formal verification processes and understanding the Systems Engineering lifecycle. Proactive teamwork and knowledge of DOORS are essential. The Sea Ceptor Weapon Systems team is expanding and seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver certification & verification activities to support multiple customers.
Salary: Up to £57,000 Depending on Experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Sea Ceptor is a very successful, growing, innovative, high profile maritime air defence system that has secured multiple UK and export contracts. Pivotal to these roles is enabling the delivery of Sea Ceptor to multiple customers concurrently, whilst managing adaptations for an increasing number of export customers.
This role is within the Weapon Systems Design & Verification team, delivering Certification & Verification activities to support multiple customers (both export and domestic) within Sea Ceptor. This will consist of task planning, budgeting and management to ensure the activities are completed on time, cost and quality.
