Bank Staff Nurse (Surgical Orthopaedics)

Paying 28.20ph

As a Bank Staff Nurse you will work on The Surgical and Orthopaedic ward based at the prestigious Cromwell Hospital. Youll work as part of a wide-ranging MDT who provide a large range of surgical specialties to include orthopaedics ENT Plastics Aesthetics Abdominal Surgery Breast Surgery and others.

As a Bank Staff Nurse you will be caring and compassionate nurse delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work.

What you'll do
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care.
  • Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
  • Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication.
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriate care is provided.
  • Respect people's rights to privacy dignity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain people's right to dignity privacy and confidentiality whilst under care at The Cromwell Hospital.
  • Take on extra duties and responsibilities as delegated and work within the scope of your professional practice being aware of your own capability and limitations.
  • Keep clear and accurate records following NMC standards of documentation.

  • Nursing experience in a Surgical ward.
  • Pleasant and cheerful manner being supportive and approachable.
  • Contribute to a high-quality safe working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care.
