A leading healthcare services provider in the UK is looking for an Experienced Decontamination Technician to support NHS Trusts. This role involves operating Getinge washer disinfectors and drying cabinets, ensuring the safe reprocessing of surgical instruments, and collaborating with clinical teams. Ideal candidates should be flexible, reliable, and possess hands-on experience with infection control protocols. This position offers ad hoc shifts from Monday to Sunday, contributing to patient safety and efficiency in healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Trained using a Getinge washer with certificates.
• Trained using a drying cabinet with certificates.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Decontamination Technician within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate Getinge washer disinfectors and drying cabinets following Trust protocols.
• Clean, inspect, and pack surgical instruments for sterilisation.
• Ensure accurate use of tracking systems and documentation.
