Supporter Care Administrator – Temporary Contract until March 2026

30 hours per week (4 or 5 days). Home‑based with weekly travel to Lingfield, Surrey. £14.30 ph.

Harris Hill is delighted to be recruiting a Supporter Care Administrator on behalf of a fantastic children’s charity. This role sits within a friendly and passionate Fundraising & Development team and plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional supporter experience.

About the Role

The Supporter Care Administrator helps ensure every supporter feels valued, inspired and well looked after. You will be the first point of contact for donors, manage enquiries with warmth and professionalism, and support the smooth processing of donations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent supporter care via phone, email and post
  • Prepare and send personalised thank‑you messages
  • Steward supporters to maximise engagement and fundraising potential
  • Maintain accurate donor records on the CRM (Beacon)
  • Process donations, Gift Aid and supporter data
  • Support fundraising campaigns, appeals and stewardship events
  • Provide general administrative support across the Fundraising team
  • Liaise with Finance to process purchase orders and invoices
  • Assist with fulfilment of fundraising materials and online shop orders
About You
  • Have experience in supporter care or customer service
  • Have strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Be confident working with CRM systems or databases
  • Communicate clearly and warmly, both verbally and in writing
  • Be proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience within the charity or fundraising sector is desirable but not essential
  • Beacon CRM experience is also a bonus
