A leading care provider in Gravesend is seeking a Support Worker to join their Learning Disability Service. This individual will support customers with learning disabilities to develop essential life skills and promote independence. Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in care. The role offers a salary of GBP25,051.00 per annum, 37.5 hours per week, and numerous benefits including training and a generous pension.

The Pelham Road Service is for people with learning disabilities, Autism and Complex needs, and we are looking for someone to support an existing staff team with an excellent value base to support the customer to build their life and develop their skills as an independent person.
Responsibilities include supporting customers to develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. At Pelham Road this includes providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
The shift patterns for this role include 7am-10pm, 1am-2.30pm, 2.30pm-10pm.
