A UK-based support services provider is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join their team in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough. This role involves providing care to individuals with learning disabilities and supporting them with daily activities. Candidates do not need previous experience as training will be provided. The ideal applicants will be confident using computers and have a caring attitude. At our Edwards Court service, we support service users with a wide range of support needs including learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs. We currently have two people living here with the capacity for one more. Both of the people we support are very individual in their needs however they both love to live life to the fullest and require support to complete the activities they enjoy the most, whether this is attending a football match, going to the disco or attending a show at the theatre.
A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided, but the preferred candidate must be confident using computers.
Our service is very easy to get to, located in Linthorpe just on the outskirts of Middlesbrough town centre with excellent public transport links, including regular bus and trains to the wider area.
