Support Worker – Horsham - £12.91

Driver essential for this role.

Typical shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – 12:30 PM to 7:45 PM.

Responsibilities

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.

You will:

• Assist with personal care
• Teach new life skills
• Encourage access to local communities and social activities
• Support individuals with enhanced support needs, including behaviour distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Participate in activities such as outings to local bars, pubs, video games, films, and cinema

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Resilience, flexibility, and composure in approach
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, and trauma
