Female Support Worker

Salary - £12.60 to £12.80 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

Please note this role is designated for female applicants only in accordance the specific need of the individuals being supported and therefore exempt from the Equality act 2010.

Day time position - 26 to 45.5 hours per week available

About Llyn y Mynydd

Join our team at Llun Y Mynydd, a tranquil residence nestled in the serene rural surroundings of Llanfoist, near Abergavenny. Our individuals can also enjoy relaxing walks along the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, Shopping, bowling, local walks, arts and crafts are just some of the activities our individuals take part in.

A day in the life of working at Llun y Mynydd includes
  • Providing high-quality care and support tailored to the specific needs of our supported individuals.
  • Encouraging and assisting individuals in participating in activities, hobbies, and social interactions.
  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalised care plans.
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all individuals.

  • The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
  • No experience needed — just passion, patience, and commitment!

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
