Overview

Darlington Borough Council don’t offer Certificate of Sponsorship. We have 1 x 18.5 hours permanent post and casual vacancies for Support Workers who are innovative, enthusiastic and have good communication skills to join our Learning Disability Provider Services team at Supported Living.

Our services support people to access their local community by providing personal and practical assistance to people with a variety of needs, including behavioural and complex physical needs. Our main priority is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to join the team and we will provide you with training for all the required work tasks, as well as the opportunity to shadow existing colleagues as part of your induction.

Responsibilities

The duties are varied and no two days are the same. The role is extremely rewarding and you can make an important difference to the individuals you are supporting. The service operates Saturday to Friday (24/7) based on a shift rota including weekend, sleep-ins, evening/night and Bank Holiday working.
