At Active Care in the Home, we're proud to be part of one of the UK's leading providers of complex care and right now, we're looking for a dedicated male Support Worker to join our client's well-established support team.

Meet Our Client

I'm a 33-year-old guy living with a spinal cord injury. I'm really into cars and computers especially the technical side of things. I love music, movies, and a good conversation, whether that's a deep chat or a laugh and a bit of banter! I have an easy-going routine and a fantastic team who know me well they'll support you as you settle in. I enjoy getting out for drives, exploring new places with great views, and spending time with my collection of remote-controlled cars. I'm looking for someone reliable, positive, and confident behind the wheel someone who shares my interests and can help me live life my way.

The Role

As Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care in our client's own home. Every day is different from supporting with personal care, medication and clinical tasks, to joining our client on trips out in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal care
  • Medication support
  • Moving and handling
  • Light domestic duties

No previous experience? No problem! We provide full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Working Hours

  • Confident driver (essential you'll be driving the client's vehicle)
  • Experience in care; spinal cord injury knowledge is a plus but not essential
