A leading support service provider in the UK is seeking caring Support Workers to enhance the lives of individuals by helping them gain independence and confidence. In this hands-on role, you will teach life skills, assist with personal care, and engage in various activities within a dynamic team. We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people! Our residential service in Eastleigh is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
• Enable people to gain independence in their daily lives
• Teach new life skills and assist with personal care
• Encourage access to local communities and socialise
• Organise and participate in a variety of activities such as local bars, pubs, video games, films and cinema.
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.
