Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Support Engineer to provide support for our Armed Forces community.

Job Title: Support Engineer

Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience

Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity

You will join a team supporting a specific product and there will be future opportunities to work with different products (missiles and weapons systems), across various platforms and with multiple customers in the UK and internationally as you develop your skills and care.

You will build trusted relationships with a complex array of internal and external partners, ensuring MBDA's reputation is upheld.

What we\'re looking for from you
  • Engineering background with a degree or equivalent experience
  • Integrated Logistics Support experience would be beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Self motivated team player able to maintain a professional manner in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with IT tools such as SAP would be preferable but not essential
