Job description

We are looking for a Supply Management Mobilisation Manager to lead and coordinate FM mobilisation activity across medium to complex contracts. Acting as the central point of connection between Supply Management and operational segments, this role ensures alignment, clarity, and seamless delivery from bid award through to operational go live.

This role is critical in delivering consistent mobilisation excellence, maintaining strong governance, and upholding Sodexo's zero harm ethos through robust supplier and product compliance. Main Responsibilities
  • Initiation: Develop a clear understanding of the mobilisation requirements, linking to the MB calculator to define the scope of works, services required, and level of effort.
  • Handover Preparation: Coordinate site visits, compile and review asset lists, and lead mobilisation kick-off meetings to ensure readiness and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Scope Validation: Confirm and validate the agreed scope with Operations to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Request for Quotation (RFQ): Manage the RFQ process, obtaining a minimum of three competitive quotations (including the incumbent supplier), ensuring appropriate regional coverage in line with the FM matrix.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal value, compliance, and service outcomes.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of new suppliers, including completion and approval of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and compliance checks.
  • Work Order Management: Draft and issue work orders, ensuring flow-down of terms and conditions, validation with key stakeholders, and inclusion of site-specific requirements such as access and security protocols.
  • Stabilisation and Handover: Support the stabilisation period post-mobilisation and ensure a structured handover to operational teams, confirming services are embedded and performing as expected.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Extensive Experience in leading teams in a buying / category management environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing procurement / category strategies.
  • Proven track record in complex contract negotiations
  • Strong presentation skills both verbally and written.
  • Graduate calibre with CIPS/ISM or equivalent qualification
  • To be aware and be able to articulate the understanding of the commercial impact of the varying business models in the organisation.
  • A financial awareness and ability to analyse data and make appropriate recommendations to improve gross margins and sales
  • A strong ability to influence effectively at all levels, especially in regards to company policies and processes.
  • To be able to demonstrate a flexible ability to pre determine work load demand and prioritisation skills, to be able to identify the urgent business need for support.
  • Experience in FM sub-categories e.g. Lifts, Fire and Security, Water treatment, electrical wholesalers
  • Experience of managing sub-contractors across Hard and Soft FM Services
  • Knowledge of Construction and Civils project' works procurement methodologies
