Your future role

The Supply Chain Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions to optimise end-to-end logistics flows. This role ensures compliance with QCDE (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Environment, and Health & Safety) targets and regional priorities, covering material flow, storage, packaging, warehousing, and transport while adhering to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) standards. They will apply best practices to continuously improve logistics operations and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Implement and manage standard packaging solutions, including design, prototyping, validation, and budget monitoring.
  • Develop protective solutions for parts during all logistics operations (transport, unloading, storage, line feeding).
  • Optimise costs by calculating Return On Investment (ROI), reducing transport expenses, and preparing business cases for investments.
  • Collaborate with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture the added value.
  • Reduce labour time in warehouse and production through process optimisation.
  • Work with technical teams to improve ergonomics, design kitting trolleys, and minimize packaging waste.
  • Manage project supply chain specifications and negotiate with suppliers at site and project levels.
  • Design internal logistics processes and maintain accurate ERP parameters (stock strategy, activity‑based costing (ABC) classification). Participate to ABC classification and contribute to C-Class* activity according to the standard rules in place.
  • Align physical and system flows to improve stock accuracy and compliance with standard processes.
  • Manage packaging at all levels from business award to maintenance including purchase order and budget monitoring.
  • Define warehouse layouts, flows, and storage policies, implementing lean principles and visual management.
  • Participate with Project Supply Chain Leader (PrSCL) to the different Procurement Gates review by negotiating terms of Project Supply Chain Specification.
  • Support EHS requirements by optimising packaging, warehouse processes, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Optimise the line feeding (design standard kitting trolley, warehouse & production line footprint and sequencing, …)
  • Work closely with Operations, material planning, warehouse, Procurement, manufacturing teams and ERP team.

*C-Class is the outsourcing of the management of the small parts

All about you
  • Educated to degree level or possesses equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Experience in an industrial environment would be highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules).
  • Good communication, negotiation, leadership, and initiative skills.
