Job Title: Supply & Demand Analyst

Contract Length: 8 months

Location: Southampton (Hybrid – 1–3 days onsite per week)

Rate: £45 per hour (Umbrella)

Working Hours: 7 hours per day

About the Role

We are seeking a Supply & Demand Analyst to support supply chain planning and analytics activities within a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This role sits within Supply Chain Analytics (P1) and focuses on Supply and Demand Planning, requiring strong analytical capability and the ability to solve increasingly complex problems with minimal supervision.

You will work primarily with internal teams, with some interaction with clients and senior stakeholders, contributing to high-quality insights that support supply chain decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform supply and demand planning analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Apply supply chain analytics to support forecasting, planning, and optimisation activities.
  • Analyse and solve complex supply chain problems, recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks, with moderate guidance on new initiatives.
  • Support or oversee small work efforts or teams, as required.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in reporting and analysis outputs.
  • Collaborate with peers, management, and occasional client stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in Supply & Demand Planning within a supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal daily supervision.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or consulting-style environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model and flexible with rotational shifts.
