  • Analyse sales forecasts and update production plans to ensure timely production of stock.
  • Ensure production demands are updated for material and packaging changes.
  • Liaise with production management and commercial teams.
  • Generate Stock Valuation, Expiring Stock, and Sales Forecast Accuracy reports.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Analyse sales forecasts and update production plans to ensure timely production of stock.
  • Ensure production demands are updated to reflect real‑time changes in materials and packaging which may affect the lead time to manufacture stock.
  • Liaise closely with the production management team to capture finite planning constraints and/or material or packaging availability concerns.
  • Ensure production plans are communicated back to the commercial team where stock cover or planned promotions are at risk, with an outlook of at least 12 months in advance.
  • Generate Stock Valuation, Expiring Stock and Sales Forecast Accuracy reports and present to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Update and analyse trends in the Supply Chain Metrics Dashboard.
  • Generate and analyse S&OP data and report to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Responsible for company‑wide weekly communication of stock levels.
  • Handle queries on stock coverage/availability for any unplanned opportunities which may arise.
  • Attend weekly commercial and production meetings to ensure effective communication flows between departments.
  • Track New Product Development launches from concept to sale, analysing performance trends and controlling stock transfers.
  • Assist with item set‑ups including key packaging data and work closely with sustainability reporting teams to ensure good data and timely reporting.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse Manager on gifting requirements, packaging and stock availability for Christmas and all year‑round gifting activities.
  • Liaise with D2C and marketing teams on ad‑hoc promotional activities to ensure they are captured within forecasts and ensure product availability.

Remuneration and Benefits

Salary: £30,000, 36 days holiday per year, inclusive of bank holidays (pro‑rata)
