A leading home care service provider in Greater London seeks a Live-in Care Professional to deliver companionship, personal care, and home help services 24/7. The ideal candidate will provide support for daily living activities, engage in meaningful conversations, and assist clients with any home care needs. You must be a UK resident and passionate about caregiving. The role offers £12 an hour plus additional benefits, like a referral bonus scheme and health support. At home Instead, we offer top-notch non -medical care and companionship services for seniors ,making us the leading provider worldwide . Our visits always last for at least an hour , and our award-winning training ensures that our Care Professionals deliver only the best care. We match our Care Professionals to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support . We’re proud of our excellent reputation for quality care we provide to our clients.

The live-in Care Professional will stay with the client 24/7 and will need to perform the below mentioned services.

Companionship Services
  • Offer companionship and conversation.
  • Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection, hobbies,and crafts)
  • Accompany to appointments and social events (for example visiting friends or family, lunch, club meetings)
Home Help Services
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, caring for houseplants etc.)
  • Organise and tidy cupboards , check food expiry dates and shopping.
  • Knowledge about good food safety and ability to cook healthy good Italian food meals from raw ingredients.
Personal Care
  • Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help with continence care.
  • Consider and understand the point of view of the person with Dementia/Alzheimer.
  • Assist with Morning and Evening routine.
  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
  • Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice.
  • Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
  • Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance.
  • This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
  • Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes) or reliable transport.

  • Resident in UK
  • All Right to Work documents available.
  • All benefits
  • Care experience preferred.
