Job summary

Crawford- Nottingham is seeking a senior operations manager to lead the Subsidence Unit, overseeing all operational matters for the identified team and ensuring service excellence, cost control and robust people management.

You will coach and develop staff, monitor performance, collaborate with field and internal teams, and drive improvements to end-to-end claims processes while maintaining client satisfaction and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience at Senior or Management level.
• Knowledge of Insurance Principles.
• Understanding of budgetary management.
• Understanding of resourcing planning requirements in a dynamic environment.
• Credible team leadership skills to motivate team members; address people issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational matters for the Subsidence Unit for a designated team.
• Provide guidance and support to employees to maximise potential.
• Deliver excellence in reduced duration, cost control and customer satisfaction.
• Coach, inspire and develop team members and maintain high performance.
• Spend majority of time in work with Subsidence Advisors to troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Collaborate with Subsidence Field, Supply Chain and internal teams for end-to-end improvements.
• Set team plan, establish meaningful measures, and develop learning programmes.
• Engage with clients, brokers and stakeholders to maintain and win new business.
• Promote company ethics and values and focus on customer needs.
