Job summary

Crawford & Company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead subsidence teams, ensuring high-quality, timely service from initial instruction through to resolution.

You will drive end-to-end claim lifecycle performance, align teams with revenue targets, coach Team Managers, and use MI to identify bottlenecks and improve customer outcomes. Strong leadership and insurance knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for service delivery across the designated team(s) and assigned client portfolio.
• Drive effective case progression to accelerate settlement times and improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain oversight of workflow, volumes, capacity, ageing claims and demand.
• Ensure work is prioritised according to customer need and business requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop Team Managers responsible for operational teams.
• Provide visibility of performance, risks and required interventions to senior leadership.
• Monitor backlog and drive continuous operational improvement across the portfolio.
