Job summary

A Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Sub Agent to manage a high-value Civil Rail project focusing on a Station Upgrade in London. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or similar, with at least 5 years’ experience in main contractor roles and rail project experience being desirable. The role involves management of resources, ensuring compliance with health and safety, and delivering the project within budget and schedule. Salary is between £45k and £50k.

  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are complied with.
  • Deliver project within programme and budget.

A Main Civil Engineering Contractor are seeking a Sub Agent to work on a high value Civil Rail project working on a Station Upgrade Project based in London. The ideal candidate will have Main Contractor experience and Rail experience this is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience on rail structures projects is desirable
  • PTS holder
Duties
  • Undertake management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers, Foremen and Planners.
  • Drive construction phase of project
  • Manage and control all project resources
  • Responsible for all management of the project
  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are complied with.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project are effectively monitored and controlled.
  • Deliver project within programme and budget.
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors.
  • Manage and review supply chain performance.
  • Liaise with client and designers.
  • Attend monthly progress meetings and compile monthly reports.
  • Report to Line Manager on a regular basis.
  • Manage Quality & Environmental Plans on site
  • Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate.
  • Control contract costs.
