East Midlands Education Trust seeks an outstanding Pastoral Support Assistant to support students' wellbeing, attendance and personal development in a high‑performing setting. The role emphasises safeguarding and close work with families, carers and external agencies to address barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will undertake targeted pastoral interventions, serve as a key worker for identified students, support reintegration after suspensions and help maintain a calm, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check and safeguarding checks.

Responsabilités

• Provide targeted pastoral interventions and act as key worker for identified students.
• Support wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and personal development.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies.
• Assist with reintegration following suspension.
