Job summary

Education World is seeking two dedicated Pastoral Managers to join our educational team in Stockton-on-Tees, supporting the welfare, attendance, behaviour and personal development of our students.

You will monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, identify concerns early and coordinate appropriate support and intervention with families, teachers and external agencies to help students thrive.

Qualifications

• Have experience of working with children or young people in a pastoral, safeguarding, educational or support role
• Are passionate about improving outcomes for young people
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are confident managing challenging situations and supporting students with a range of needs
• Can work effectively as part of a wider pastoral and safeguarding team
• Are organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities
• Share our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, attendance and student wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, identify concerns at an early stage and coordinate appropriate support and intervention.
• Provide high-quality pastoral support to an allocated group of students and work with families, teachers and external agencies.
• Collaborate with parents/carers, staff and external professionals to remove barriers to learning and help students thrive both academically and personally.
