Job summary

Homes for Students is seeking a part-time Residence Services Assistant in Stoke-on-Trent to deliver a welcoming reception, provide help desk support and contribute to back-office operations. The role focuses on delivering cheerful, high-quality customer service and supporting students and visitors with information and guidance.

You will handle inquiries via email, website, telephone and in person, ensuring accurate advice and a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service and resolving enquiries.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Team player with flexible approach and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly meet and greet and reception support for students and visitors.
• Assist with help desk tasks and back-office administration for the operations team.
• Support open days, intake days and departures; assist students, visitors and external contacts.
• Respond to enquiries via email, website, telephone and in person with accurate information.
