Job summary

Homes for Students in the United Kingdom is seeking a Resident Services Assistant at Straits Garden. This 20-hour-per-week role runs Monday to Friday and centers on delivering cheerful reception, a warm meet-and-greet, and help desk support to students and visitors.

You will assist with back‑office functions, provide administrative support to the operations team and General Manager, and help ensure open days, intake days and departures run smoothly for everyone involved.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and a friendly, patient attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to use email and online platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students and visitors at reception.
• Provide reception support and help desk assistance.
• Support operations with back-office tasks and administrative duties.
• Respond to student inquiries via email, website, phone, and in person.
• Assist with open days, intake days and departures, and coordinate with the operations team.
