Overview

Are you ready to put your studies into practice and make a meaningful contribution from day one? As a student in our Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of site-wide initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real-world projects, gain valuable industry experience, and develop your technical and professional skills.

Organon is recruiting for a STEM student to join us by the beginning of August 2026 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic, real-world setting while building relationships and learning from experienced professionals.

During your 12-month placement
  • Assisting with the delivery of key site projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet defined timelines.
  • Supporting the validation process through the creation and execution of essential documentation.
  • Leading and implementing engineering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring full compliance with our company’s policies, procedures, and global standards, including cGMP and regulatory requirements.
We’re looking for someone who is
  • Currently studying a relevant degree (e.g. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering), entering 3rd or penultimate year, and returning to studies post-placement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and confident in both written and verbal communication.
  • A proactive problem solver, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
Application Process Timeline Overview
  • Stage 1 – Submission of CV and Cover Letter (by 31st October 2025).
  • Stage 2 – Initial Informal Discussion (Between 3rd November – 17th November 2025).
  • Candidates will be selected and invited to take part in an initial informal discussion about the role, as well as an opportunity for you to find out about the company.
  • Stage 3 – Assessment Centre + Final Interview (Week commencing 24th November 2025).
  • Candidates successful at stage 2 will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, located on site at Cramlington. Candidates will spend a day at the facility, getting a feel for Organon as well as taking part in several activities including a site tour and a final interview.
