Qualifications

• SC Cleared or ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to conduct a wide range of cabling installations.
• Experience in working across various environments including data centres.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test cabling to the highest standards.
• Work on internal and external copper and fibre cabling installations.
• Conduct site surveys to assess cabling installation needs.
• Travel occasionally as required by projects.
• Ensure installations comply with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a

Conduct site surveys for cabling requirements

Install cable containment systems

Work closely with project management

Test and troubleshoot cable systems

Diagnose faults in structured cabling systems

Ensure compliance with industry standards

Install Wi-Fi access points and related equipment

Maintain accurate installation records

Adhere to health and safety regulations

Optional fibre optic installation
