Junior Structural Technician - Entry-Level Opportunity Bristol
Are you a budding Structural Technician with a passion for design and problem-solving? We're working with a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy that's looking to add a Junior Structural Technician to their growing Bristol-based team.
Whether you've just finished your studies or have up to 2 years of experience, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of exciting structural and civil engineering projects.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting senior technicians and engineers on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
Producing 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD and Revit
Assisting with documentation across all RIBA stages
Helping maintain accurate project records, drawings, and QA logs
Engaging with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective collaboration
Staying on top of industry standards, software tools, and safety practices
What we're looking for:
A good standard of education (college diploma or equivalent in a relevant subject)
Some experience or understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities
A team player with a can-do attitude and keen attention to detail
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Proficiency with basic computer tools (Word, Excel)
A clean driving licence and access to your own transport
The offer:
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)
Training: Ongoing on-the-job training and development
Location: Bristol office, with support across UK projects
