A structural design practice located in Watford is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their friendly team, responding to an increase in workload. Overview

Structural Engineer | Herts WD3 | £35k-£55k

Family run, long established small structural design practice require an additional structural engineer to join their happy team. This expansion is due to increasing workload.

Responsibilities

• Design in all the main materials.
• Run your own projects, dealing with clients and architects.
• Work in the residential sector with a varied range of projects, typically from small up to £4-5m in build value.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of buildings design experience; ideally with experience in the residential sector.
• Ability to use AutoCAD (would be helpful).
• Excellent communication skills.

About the Role & Location

The practice is small and friendly, currently consisting of 6 Engineers and 1 Technician. You should be able to design in all main materials. The station is within easy walking distance from the office.
