Job summary

A leading infrastructure consultancy in Exeter seeks a Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer to be a key member of the South West & South Wales team. The role involves managing technical assessments, project schedules, and providing design solutions. Candidates should hold a Chartered Engineer status, have experience in highway structures, and possess a Full UK Driving License. Qualifications

• Experience in detailed design of new highway structures, predominantly in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
• Conducting site surveys and inspections.

• Preparing technical reports including feasibility and assessment reports.
• Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects.

Skills

Conducting structural assessments using Eurocodes and British Standards

• Prepare technical reports (e.g. feasibility/options reports, assessment reports and other technical reports)
• Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects
• Conducting site surveys and inspections
• Full UK Driving License
• Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE)
• Familiarity with current design practices and local/national guidance
• Proficiency in structural analysis software packages
