What’s the Job?
  • Being part of a team to complete front-line services and operations, including litter picking, deep cleaning, litter bin emptying.
  • Following written and verbal instructions in the form a daily route map and to complete daily work,
  • Achieve targets and deadlines.

Liaising with customers, service users and dealing with public complaints.

What we’re looking for :
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude to working with colleagues and the public.
  • A proactive and motivated individual who takes pride in their work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to walk up to 8 miles a day in all weather conditions.
  • A good knowledge of Derby.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with customer care and equal opportunity policies

The team works Monday–Thursday 6am–2pm and on Friday’s. There will be a requirement to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the Christmas period (with prior notice). Night working is also required on occasion, again with prior notice.
