A UK financial regulator seeks a Strategy PMO Analyst for a 6–12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a salary range of £57,700 to £65,000 and involves engaging with stakeholders, ensuring governance, and transforming practices. National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £52,400 to £59,700 London ranging from £57,700 to £65,000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)
The FCA regulates the conduct of 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive. The FCA is an independent regulator for financial services and markets that ensure consumers are treated fairly and financial markets operate with integrity.
Ensure that best practices, governance and strategic alignment are upheld across a portfolio of projects and business initiatives, providing insightful MI and analysis, empowering decision-makers
You will be involved in transforming the organisation into a data-led regulator, supporting strategically important initiatives across financial services
Provide timely, value-add reporting to senior stakeholders and managing key internal relationships
Perform secretariat function for senior committees, coordinating and assuring board pack materials and taking meeting minutes
Capturing cross strategy dependencies, risks, issues and assumptions
Enhance continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to contribute to the client’s strategy
An interesting, varied role working for an established Strategy team and liaising with Delivery Portfolios
Exposure to a high profile, multi-year portfolio of work to deliver a cross-organisational strategy

Prior experience as a PMO either on large/complex projects or programmes, or at the portfolio level
Prior experience with PMO governance, tools, and processes, and able to sell the benefits and promote best practice
Prior experience engaging with stakeholders internally and externally
Highly motivated, able to work with minimal direction and taking full ownership for deliverables
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and summarise complex information into executive language and reporting
Experience as a secretariat of senior project/programme/portfolio level forums. Ability to produce high quality packs and minutes
Experience in managing large, complex projects, programmes or portfolio budgets
Ability to build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and project team members
PMO certification e.g. P3O, MoP, PRINCE2 is beneficial
