Job summary

Celnor, via Primary Water Solutions, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the water hygiene and Legionella sector from a Gloucestershire base. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with facilities managers and contractors, and drive a full sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract.

You will manage proposals, presentations and account development while collaborating with operations to deliver compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Not an entry level sales role; previous BD experience in water industry required.
• Strong understanding of water hygiene, Legionella compliance and related services.
• Able to generate new business and develop key accounts.
• Confident communicating with clients across all levels and pricing discussions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across water hygiene, Legionella and water treatment.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams and contractors.
• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from contact to contract.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and pipeline progression.
• Coordinate handover with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity.
• Represent Primary Water Solutions professionally to build lasting client partnerships.
