Job summary

Primary Water Solutions Limited, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our water compliance business in Gloucester.

You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and build long-term client relationships with facilities managers and contractors in the water hygiene, Legionella and water treatment sectors.

Qualifications

• This role requires previous experience in the water industry and a proven ability to generate new business.
• Demonstrated track record in developing accounts and closing contracts.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Able to manage a sales pipeline independently with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the water hygiene and compliance market.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams, contractors and other decision-makers.
• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract award.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and work with operational teams to develop solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and pipeline progression.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers of new business.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity.
