Job summary

Primary Water Solutions, now part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our water hygiene and compliance client base in Reading and across the UK. You will identify opportunities, speak with facilities managers and senior decision makers, and convert prospects into long‑term contracts while collaborating with internal operations and technical teams.

This full‑time role requires water industry experience, strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Not an entry level sales role; previous water industry experience essential.
• Proven track record of generating new business and developing accounts.
• Confident speaking about compliance requirements, pricing and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across water hygiene, Legionella and compliance.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams and other decision-makers.
• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from contact to contract.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities.
• Work with operational and technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain records of opportunities and pipeline progression.
