Job summary

Primary Water Solutions, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our water hygiene and Legionella compliance client base across the UK. You will build long-term relationships with facilities teams, estates professionals and other decision-makers while understanding client requirements.

This is a field-based role based in Swindon with travel nationwide, ownership of the sales pipeline from first contact to contract award, and close

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales within the water industry.
• Strong understanding of water hygiene and Legionella compliance.
• Proven track record of generating new business and developing accounts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across water hygiene, Legionella, water treatment and compliance market.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams, property professionals, contractors and other key decision-makers.
• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract award.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and work with operational teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activity and pipeline progression.
• Work closely with internal operational and technical teams to ensure a smooth handover of new business.
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the water compliance sector.
• Represent Primary Water Solutions professionally and build long-term client partnerships.
