Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for enterprise security. You will advise customers, translate use cases into best practices, and partner with product teams to improve offerings.

You will work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Support, and Engineering to ensure security objectives are met, minimize downtime, and maximize customer value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with one or more SIEM platforms including Splunk ES/UBA.
• Active security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or OSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers in long-term engagements to provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration and optimization.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate adoption of the security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Customer Support for customer success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align strategic plans.
• Develop collateral and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive CSAT scores and document customer success stories.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within existing accounts.
