Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our most critical customers. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex use cases into actionable security and resilience practices.

In this role, you will collaborate across cross-functional teams, manage strategic accounts, and identify opportunities for product expansion while maintaining robust customer health and high satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on exp with ES/Splunk apps
• Industry security certs (GIAC/CISSP/OSCP or equivalent)
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments; scripting with Bash or Python
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers in long-term engagements to provide technical guidance on ES and Splunk UBA
• Resolve complex security challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Customer Support for customer success
• Engage with the broader Splunk Account Team to align account plans
• Develop collateral and tools to improve operational efficiency
• Drive high CSAT scores and identify product expansion opportunities
• Mentor team members and participate in internal training programs
