Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for premier customers. You will advise on security use cases, architecture, and best practices, acting as the bridge between customers and product teams to improve security and resilience.

The role focuses on deep security domain knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering measurable customer outcomes while expanding product adoption and ensuring high CSAT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with SIEM systems such as Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, or Chronicle.
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in Enterprise Security, Splunk SOAR or Splunk UBA.
• Industry security certs such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent.
• Unix and Windows environments with CLI, scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on Enterprise Security use cases, configuration, and optimization for ES and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform with domain expertise.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align strategic plans and share critical information.
