Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our critical customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex security use cases into practical best practices and partnering with internal teams to improve offerings.

The role focuses on maintaining robust customer health, achieving high CSAT, and uncovering opportunities for product expansion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, or similar).
• Active Splunk certification and hands-on with Splunk premium apps (ES, SOAR, or UBA).
• Security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or OSCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform using domain expertise.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align strategic plans and share key information.
• Develop collateral and tools to improve operational efficiency across the org.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within existing accounts.
