Job summary

A local authority in England is seeking a highly motivated Adults Safeguarding Strategic Development and Board Manager to oversee key governance and operational functions of the Merton Safeguarding Adults Board. The ideal candidate will have extensive safeguarding experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage effectively with various partners to ensure the Board meets its statutory duties and enhances the lives of adults at risk. Qualifications

  • Experience in safeguarding work relevant to the level and nature of the post.
  • Up to date knowledge of national and local policy and legislation.
  • Ability to communicate in complex situations.
  • Experience in information analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Merton Safeguarding Adults Board’s strategic planning processes.
  • Oversee governance and operational functions of the MSAB.
  • Ensure continual learning and improvement within safeguarding practices.
  • Coordinate Safeguarding Adults Review processes.
