Job summary

National Highways is strengthening its Digital Services function with a Lead Service Manager role focused on DevSecOps delivery within Infrastructure & Platforms. The role combines strategic governance, funding governance artifacts, and end-to-end delivery leadership to enable cloud compute services and capabilities.

The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office, and may be based at any National Highways office across the UK with some travel for team meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DevSecOps delivery within a large-scale IT programme.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Microsoft Azure DevOps processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into governance artifacts, funding proposals and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic outcomes using the DevSecOps capability within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Manage full delivery lifecycle from scoping to final handover and commissioning.
• Provide direction on tooling and methods to meet end-user needs and improve service delivery.
• Oversee budget for the DevSecOps practice and managed services contracts.
