Job summary

National Highways is expanding its Digital Services function and seeks a Lead Service Manager to drive DevSecOps delivery and cloud compute initiatives. The role emphasizes strategic governance, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership across Infrastructure & Platforms.

The role is hybrid with two days per week in the office, with travel as needed to partner offices and team meetings as National Highways reshapes its digital landscape.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (e.g. Azure, AWS).
• Proven ability to manage a service provider derived DevSecOps delivery team to achieve sprint velocity and delivery critical business outcomes.
• An outstanding understanding of Agile and ADO principles and processes, and the ability to apply the technical knowledge in project or programme environments.
• Demonstrable evidence of influencing team dynamics and collaborative working.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevSecOps practice and managed services budget.
• Deliver strategic outcomes utilizing DevSecOps capability within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Prepare governance artifacts for commercial sourcing of new cloud compute services and capabilities, e.g., Business Cases.
• Provide strategic input into short, medium, and long-term cloud compute roadmaps for Infrastructure and Platforms.
• Manage full cycle of new deliveries from conceptual scoping to end delivery.
• Matrix manage a third-party supplier.
