Job summary

National Highways is enhancing its Digital Services function with a hybrid Lead Service Manager role. You will drive DevSecOps outcomes within Infrastructure & Platforms, manage the full delivery lifecycle from scoping to funding to delivery, and provide strategic input into cloud roadmaps while balancing budget and supplier management.

The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the office, and can be based at any National Highways location across the UK, with occasional travel for team

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (Azure, AWS) and cloud strategy.
• Experience leading DevSecOps delivery teams to optimize sprint velocity.
• Strong Agile and ADO expertise with ability to apply in project/program environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic outcomes using DevSecOps within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Manage end-to-end delivery from scoping to funding through to end delivery.
• Prepare governance artifacts for the commercial sourcing of new cloud compute services and capabilities e.g. Business Cases.
• Budget management for the DevSecOps practised and managed services contracts.
