Job summary

National Highways is expanding its Digital Services function, recruiting for a Lead Service Manager to drive DevSecOps delivery across Infrastructure & Platforms. The role balances strategic cloud initiatives with governance and financial stewardship, including hands-on governance artifacts and securing funding.

The hybrid role requires in-office presence twice a week, with nationwide offices and occasional travel to team meetings. A strong commercial acumen and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (e.g. MS Azure, Amazon AWS).
• Proven ability to manage a DevSecOps delivery team to achieve sprint velocity and outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile and ADO principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for DevSecOps in Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Manage budget for the DevSecOps practice and managed services.
• Prepare governance artifacts and secure funding for cloud initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from scoping to handover to BAU.
• Line management of a Senior Service Delivery Manager / Product Owner and matrix management of a third-party supplier.
