Job summary

DS Smith is seeking an experienced Account Manager for the UK Packaging (Retail) team. This remote role oversees a Midlands/South West portfolio, driving retention and growth, and collaborating with Design, Innovation and Operations to deliver value-led, sustainable packaging solutions.

You will build partnerships across FMCG and industrial brands, manage forecasts, and work with regional teams to maximise opportunities while travelling as needed for client pitches and site visits across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in Account Management within FMCG/packaging is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse financial insights and drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of account plans to grow revenue and margins within existing customers.
• Build deep partnerships across FMCG and industrial sectors to enhance loyalty.
• Translate customer needs into tailored, sustainable packaging solutions with Design/Innovation teams.
• Manage account metrics and provide accurate sales forecasts via CRM.
