DS Smith Plc in the UK is seeking an ambitious Account Manager for our UK Packaging (Retail) team, covering the Midlands and South West. You will manage a key customer portfolio, drive revenue growth, and translate customer needs into sustainable packaging solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Design, Innovation and Operations, lead account plans, forecast sales, and build deep partnerships across FMCG and industrial brands while travelling regularly for pitches and site visits.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in account management within FMCG packaging or related sectors.
• Full driving license is required.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with travel as needed.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills; able to handle challenging stakeholder discussions.
• Experience analysing financial insights and translating them into actions.

• Strategy & Growth: Lead account plans to secure organic revenue growth and margin improvements within existing customers.
• Relationship Management: Build deep partnerships across FMCG and industrial sectors to drive loyalty and satisfaction.

• Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage account metrics and provide accurate sales volume and revenue forecasts.
• Collaboration & Efficiency: Work with regional sales networks and operations to maximise opportunities and drive supply chain efficiencies.
