DS Smith Plc is seeking an ambitious Account Manager for the UK Packaging (Retail) team. You will manage a portfolio across the Midlands and South West, driving growth and deepening customer partnerships with FMCG and industrial brands.

You will work remotely with regular travel to client sites, pitches, and internal meetings. A full driving licence, strategic account planning, and strong negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an Account Management role within FMCG; packaging experience is desirable but other sectors welcomed.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with travel as needed.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills to handle external and internal stakeholders.
• Experience analysing financial insights and taking action accordingly.
• Ability to build robust relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Capability to deliver dynamic and professional presentations.

Responsabilités

• Lead account plans to secure organic revenue growth and margin improvements.
• Build deep partnerships across FMCG and industrial sectors to drive loyalty.
• Coordinate with Design and Innovation to translate needs into sustainable packaging
• Manage account metrics and provide accurate sales forecasts through the CRM
• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to maximise market opportunities
