Job summary

DS Smith is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to develop strategic partnerships with key customers across the Midlands and South West. You will drive growth, retention, and value-led packaging solutions while collaborating with Sales, Design, Innovation and Operations.

The role is remote with regular travel across the Midlands and South West, requiring a full driving license and a provenTrack record in account management within FMCG or packaging.

Qualifications

• Proven success in Account Management within FMCG or packaging
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely with travel as needed
• Excellent relationship-building with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of account plans to secure organic revenue growth and margin improvements within existing customers
• Build deep partnerships across FMCG and industrial sectors to drive loyalty and satisfaction
• Coordinate with Design and Innovation teams to translate customer needs into sustainable packaging offerings
• Manage account metrics and forecast sales volume and revenue with the CRM system
• Collaborate with regional sales networks and operations to maximise market opportunities and drive supply chain efficiencies
