Job summary

DS Smith Plc in the UK is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to manage a Midlands and South West portfolio, build strategic partnerships with leading FMCG and industrial brands, and drive growth through value-led packaging solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Design, Innovation and Operations to translate customer needs into differentiated packaging offerings, own account plans, and provide accurate forecasts using our CRM. This role is remote with regular travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an Account Management role within FMCG or packaging.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across UK regions.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience analysing financial insights to drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead account plans to secure organic revenue growth and margin improvements.
• Build deep partnerships with FMCG and industrial brands.
• Translate customer needs into valuable packaging offerings with Design/Innovation teams.
• Manage pipeline and provide accurate forecasts via the CRM.
• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to maximise opportunities.
